We knew how important was for her to repair her Macbook, also how time pressured she was to finish her assignments. So we jump straight into it and start working on the logic board. As we do component level Mac repairs, we spotted the issue right on.
It was oxidation around the power chips responsible to power on the Macbook. There power chips handle high power consumption and should not be shorted in any conditions. And that is what exactly happened here.
Liquid damage after it dried it turned into oxidation and with the power of constant voltage, copper components and encapsulated warm area – it turned that dried liquid spot into feeding ground for a chemical reaction.
