Once back lid removed, we could see the extent of the damage. Although it was just a couple of hours only since this Macbook Air had water damage, it was already spread over components. Repair Process

Corrosion reached the thunderbolt charging chips. This was quite dangerous as these charging chips were not even on the market yet. If they had shorted we would not be able to repair this Macbook for another 6-12 months until chips were released for mass production.
We have cleaned the corrosion and replaced a couple of capacitors which start losing contact due to the corrosion.
