A quick way to diagnose if there is an electronic fault or a screen fault is to check if there is a response from the CapsLock key. If it does not light up when pressed, it is certainly some kind of electronic failure. As it was with this Asus UX433 Repair.
Taken apart we could immediately spot the discolouration on the heatsink of this Asus UX433. This clear indication of ongoing overhearing issues. The colour of copper is light however, exposure to continuous heat changes it to red-brownish.
We detect a short circuit at one of the voltage output lines. It is a common area on these models, next to the heatsink. Trapped heat at these spots, with the help of a physical impact such as drops, creates microfractures in the SMD components. Particularly ceramic filtering capacitors, which then short and cause a particular voltage line to fail.
Apparently with this model was a line responsible for CPU/video circuit. It is an electronic repair, similar to Asus not turning-on repairs we get.
